Tzatziki - Recipe for Greek Tzatziki

Tzatziki is one of Greece’s most famous dips.
It is also used for the preparation of other greek dishes. It's for example commonly used in souvlaki .

The ingredients you will need to make this Greek Tzatziki Recipe:

greek yogurt

Peel and mince 2 small cloves garlic.
Combine olive oil, vinegar, garlic and salt in a bowl and mix well.
Add the Greek yogurt and gently stir it into the other mixture.

Peel and grate the cucumber in a second bowl. Squeeze it to remove some of the excess liquid.
Combine yoghurt and cucumber together and stir gently.

Cover and place in fridge before serving at least one hour for best flavor, over night is suggested.
Serve with marinated olives garnished with fresh parsley and add a dash of olive oil.


Note:
Store the tzatziki the fridge for up to a week.
